Wooden Cross Exotic 24”. Condition is "New".
Beautiful handmade wooden wall cross with 3 different species of wood. It’s made of Solid Walnut, Maple, and African Padauk (found in Central & Tropical West Africa). This is not your average wooden cross, but rather a very nice collectors piece. The overall dimensions are 16”Wx24”H. The top, bottom, and sides are a thick 3” wide and 1” deep. These crosses are handmade by me and they are made to order. I start by glueing and clamping all pieces in which I let dry for 24 hours. I then plane and sand all surfaces to a smooth finish. The center is a mitered fit with a floating style glued bridle joint for extra strength to last a lifetime. All sides and center have a routered chamfered (beveled) edge followed with three coats of satin lacquer finish. Keyhole style hanging on the back which will hang with one screw or nail. There is No stain used on the cross, just a clear coat to show the beauty of the natural wood color.

There is an option of squared outside corners (pictured & included) or tapered corners by request. Last picture is an example of tapered corners. Also, there is an option of a satin clear coat finish (pictured & included) or semi gloss for a shinier finish by request. Please message me at checkout if that is an option you would like.
