MUSEUM reconstruction of the order project.
While in exile, the head of the Russian Imperial House, ( at the head of the dynasty of 1918-1939), Grand Duke KIRILL I VLADIMIROVICH ROMANOV, planned to create the Russian Imperial Order of GOLGOTHA
The idea of the Grand Duke was not realised during his lifetime. The order remained at the project stage .
In the magazine “ZEYGAUZ” (# 1, 1993 ), L.A. SHAPRON du LARRE published a project of KIRILL I Romanov .
Black enamel cross on silver star, white edges of the cross, steel swords, in the centre in a wreath of thorns, Golgotha against the backdrop of the Moscow Kremlin, flooded with the fire and blood. The degree of the cross is one, but it is subdivided:
1. With swords and a bow.
2. With swords.
3. Without swords.
4. Star of the Order of Golgotha with an
applied order with swords .
The order is HEREDITARY . It was planned to wear this order o the black mourning ribbon with a white border.
Material: SILVERED bronze cross ( 55 x 50 mm ), red and black hot enamel, 24 cm original orders moire ribbon.
