The Visage TSDVRPRO-II series of digital video recorders utilise a high definition codec to provide a H.264 hybrid solution with MPEG4 standard. In simple terms, by enhancing the MPEG4 compression engine, the CCTV video images are optimised, thereby providing a digital recording solution that is equivalent to, if not, actually better than standard H.264.
Available in 4, 8 and 16 channel models these units deliver a maximum recording rate of 200 frames/sec (real time on 4 & 8 channel) and up to 720 x 576 (D1) pixel resolution. Offering high storage efficiency, the recorders incorporate an integrated
DVD-writer and USB port for incident back-up. In addition, the USB port can be used for software upgrade and mouse control for PC like operation. All units provide a loop out for each camera input, main monitor output, VGA output, spot output, four channels of audio and RS485 connection for PTZ/Keyboard control.
Operation and programming is simple via the intuitive and well designed graphical user interface. Navigation and programming through the menus and control of the DVR is possible through the use of the front panel buttons, jog shuttle.
Features include per channel recording set-up, motion detection, alarm inputs, time, date and event search, email notification and full network capability through a drag and drop software. Additionally the DVRs benefit from a built in web-server for viewing via internet explorer.
