    Vintage Antique Made in Japan Cat Kitten Mug w/ Cat Shaped Handle Whimsical
    Very unique antique cat mug/tea cup from Japan. Possibly from right before the Occupation of Japan after WWII ( based on similar mugs created during the Occupation 1945-1952).
    Features a cat-shaped handle with a colorful design of two laughing cats and a small insect (or mouse?) Next to them.
    Due to age of piece there is crazing. There are also two noticeable lines in the cup, but they are under the surface of the glaze, therefore they don't feel like true cracks. There is a small chip out of the cat's ear and tail as well as a few on the bottom of the cup.
    Stamped on bottom "Made in Japan".
    Measures approximately 3" tall.
