TIFFIN TWILIGHT Glass Blown 10 rib BOWL Neodymium Alexandrite MCM. Condition is "Used". Tiffin made this amazing color-changing glass only in the early 60s so being 60 to 70 years old, it looks like it has never been used. The bowl is thick and heavy and has great clarity reflecting the quality of all Tiffin glassware. Neodymium glass is a pink color in natural light and dramatically changes to an entirely different blue color under fluorescent lighting. Neodymium is a rare earth element seldom used in today’s glass making industry. In the interest of full disclosure, there is one small nick on one ground and polished lobe on the base.
