This is an outstanding Russian Imperial Mitre used by the Russian Grenadiers around the middle of XVIII century. Brass gilt front plate extensively decorated with early Russian Empire and Armorial designs.
Grenadier regiment symbols are mounted to the lower sides and the back.
Canvas lining without any markings.
