Rare Schaefer Beer Bubbling Mug Excellent Condition Vintage Collector's Item. This is a very hard-to-find Schaefer Bubbling Light from the '70s. Schaefer is getting more and more desirable and like all my other sales, you will never lose your funds later! Still, this has great Vibrant colors and really looks like a cold mug of beer. On the outside of the glass, it is designed with purposely faded areas resembling frost / cold appearances. Also has fake drips of cold water running down the mug. This awesome display is in working order and no tears or rips to the inside material. The insides of the special light reflect many bubbles giving way to the small little light bulb. Normal wear and tear for something that is this old. Very slight scuff and little scratches you really won't see when the light is fully operating. This light is at least 50+ years old and still looks showroom great! Inside the bottom of the light is a small certain size bulb that heats a thermo-type tube causing bubbles to rise the look-a-like like beer and the foam is actually a reflective shield perfectly placed to make the item look like there are tons of bubbles rising inside from the bottom of the mug and up. This one does come with a cover but I took it off for shipping reasons as you can imagine. The cover has a small chip or mouse bite on it but nothing that affects the looks, please see the last photo. This would just need a drop of super glue to place back on. It's not worth taking a chance shipping this beautiful light with this attached. The last one I had exactly like this sold for 181.00. So please understand if you bought this and decide later that you need to resell, this will never lose the money you spent, if anything it will be worth more, seeing how they are hard to find, they don't make these anymore and especially they are the conversation piece of your Bar, Garage, or Man / Woman Cave! Good luck with your bidding as mentioned it takes a little time to warm up the thermo-tube inside and when that becomes the correct temperature the bubbles begin to rise continuously till it reaches maximum temperature. Also, a simple installment of this light is very easy to do. Thank you for your interest! sailor-4912.
