    Description

    This is
    ORIGINAL WWI RED ARMY HAT BUDYONOVKA (БУДЁНОВКА). This Summer Model
    was approved by order of the RVSR (Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic) No. 322 of January 31, 1922.
    Helmet used but in good condition.
    Each parts is original. Helmet has original straps. I
    nside the helmet there is an oval stamp of the manufacturer ( see picture).
    At the front helmet has
    2 stars. The first star- large of light green material, this means that the owner of the helmet belonged to the Border Troops. On top of a large star is a small metallic red star. This is a very rare model. This model for hats was approved by order of the People's Commissar for Military Affairs, Leon Trotsky No. 594 of July 29, 1918. In the future, changes have been made. Inside the star, the image of the plow was replaced by the image of the sickle, the image of the hammer was left unchanged. I
