    Description

    Original Russian officers dragoon shashka made by Zlatoust Weaponry Factory and without date of manufacturing. The blade is in almost excellent condition with ebonite grip  (with one big crack on both sides) and brass parts and the words Zlatoust Weaponry Factory engraved on the spine. On one side of the blade with the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire: double head eagle the other side monogram of Russian Czar Nicholas the Second.
    Two letters П and Ш - First letters of last names of quality control masters.
    The wooden scabbard was covered by the leather and I think this leather was replaced a long time ago. The total length is 35 inches, the blade only is 28 inches long. It is a nice example of the shashka made during WWI. (14)
