    Description

    Up for sale is an old / vintage crucifix / cross made in Germany, on a sterling silver chain. The crucifix measures 2 inches long, has a mother-of-pearl type background. On the back "Germany" is engraved. The cross and Jesus are a silver material, but it is not marked ".925" or "Sterling" or "Silver Plate". The chain measures 18" long, and the clasp is marked "Sterling". Overall they are in good condition. Family thinks these date at least to the 1930s, belonging to an aunt who was quite devout, and left Germany before WWII broke out. Buyer pays .95 shipping in the US.
