This listing is for one new Genuine Honda muffler and heat shield assembly for the 70-79 Trail 90. The muffler is a superseded part, it has a black finish rather than the chrome finish of the early models. Chrome mufflers are no longer available. The muffler includes the baffle and this kit includes the OEM chrome heat shields and their mounting hardware. This kit does NOT include the muffler to bike mounting hardware. This kit also comes with one (1) Genuine Honda exhaust gasket.  Unlike many other sellers we have this item in stock and ready to ship.  Our stock photos shown.
Special Notes!!!
1. This kit may be used on the 66-69 K0 and K1 models but you will need to fabricate your own clamp for the forward mounts on the forward heat shield. 2. The protective gasket for the rear clamp on the forward heat shield must be cut open to adhere to the pipe. Sometimes they are manufactured with an obvious pre-cut split, sometimes they are not. 3. Main photograph shows heat shields resting loosely on muffler. Hardware was NOT installed. See other photos for hardware. 4. Many of these parts have been discontinued once already but brought back by Honda. If you think you will ever need to restore your old Trail 90, it might be a good idea to do so before these parts are discontinued again!

*Will also work on the 1966-1969 K0 and K1 models with modifications to the forward heat shield mount. You will need to make your own clamp as the original 70-79 design bolts directly to the head pipe cover.
