  • Condition: Very Good to Excellent overall vint cond: There's not a blemish on the entirety of its surface. This Biblical bas-relief, raised figurative bronze plaque is suspended above the surface by 3 raised cleats or feet. There's a perforation in the top cleat, which means the bronze plaque could either be viewed & enjoyed as perhaps a paperweight, desktop decorative object or be outfitted w/a string or wire & viewed as a suspended, hanging pendant against a wall. This bronze plaque didn't come w/a string or other hanging cord. The surfaces are nearly unblemished & the bronze still enjoys its orig, aged bronze patina. It hasn't been polished or chemically cleaned w/an agent. It's been left alone & the bronze has a very nice mellow, soft glow, w/episodes of surface chalking & mineral deposits in the bronze valleys of the bas-relief figuration. The crucifix has soft, rounded int corners & it appears that Christ is placing a halo upon the head of another figure among palms. Very beautiful. Clean.

    DESCRIPTION:
    There's not a blemish on the entirety of its surface. This Biblical bas-relief, raised figurative bronze plaque is suspended above the surface by three raised cleats or feet. There's a perforation in the top cleat, which means the bronze plaque could either be viewed and enjoyed as perhaps a paperweight, desktop decorative object or be outfitted with a string or wire and viewed as a suspended, hanging pendant against a wall. This bronze plaque didn't come with a string or other hanging cord. The surfaces are nearly unblemished and the bronze still enjoys its original, aged bronze patina. It hasn't been polished or chemically cleaned with a polishing agent. It's been left alone and the bronze has a very nice mellow, soft glow with episodes of surface chalking and mineral deposits in the bronze valleys of the bas-relief figuration.
    The crucifix has soft, rounded interior corners and it appears that Christ is placing a halo upon the head of another figure among palms. This bronze crucifix was not dusted, rinsed or oiled. No attempt has been made to remove the mineral chalking in the valleys of the bronze figuration or to polish or use a chemical polishing or cleaning agent. The bronze is being offered completely as it was found and remains untouched and undisturbed. Very beautiful. Clean.
