An unusual copper mess pail by the Russian Army's main contractor for mess gear
"кольчулгина" (Kolchulgin) in copper with iron bale.
Brass handle rings marked
кольчулгина above a horse's head with number 2 stamped beneath.
Brazed seams are unusual for Kolchugin's military production of mess-pails, but the rolled top edge
and triangular handle ring are similar to military models.
