Imperial Russian Army copper mess pail, 1889
Copper mess pail from Russo-Japanese War, which continued in use during World War One. Tinned copper with iron handle. In good condition with the interior tinning intact.
Issue stamps with date 1889 (photo 6) on side of pail, with St. Petersburg maker's stamp "L& Co." (in cyrillic) on handle ring (photo 7)
