Description

1881 Honduras Half Cent, NGC certified and graded MS63 Brown. A completely original and pleasant looking example of this extremely rare coin, of which, there are less than 10 specimens known to exist. This coin was one of two graded at this level by NGC with none higher, meaning that no finer example is currently known. The slab, unfortunately, was damaged by the US postal service in shipping but it is intact and the coin can be fully verified on the NGC website.  These tiny coins are considered practically extinct. High Rarity 7 and nice.
