    Description

Geo. Roediger Antique Advertising Beer Stein
    Measures approx. 3 1/3" x 5" (to handle) at base x 5" tall
Reads: "Compliments of Geo. Roediger. Trinken wir hoch ein tröpfchen (Let's have a drink). Cor. of 20th and Leavitt St."
Decorated with acorns for good luck and a golden lyre center.
I believe this is from a pub in Chicago. Records put a Geo. Roediger at 937 S. Leavitt St. in 1906. There's also a saloon owner and distiller in Winston Salem, N.C.  by the same name operating around nearly the same time. I'm not sure if there's any relation.
Excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks. Had a few scuffs to rim and some surface scratching. Displays well. The bottom part of the "c" in
    tröpfchen has worn off.

    A Note on Shipping:
eBay can be a little like the Wild West when it comes to shipping for collectors. Sometimes promises are made and not kept about how an item will be shipped. Sometimes sellers just don’t have a clue how to ship.
I take great care when packing art and ship USPS priority insured. Quality tubes and packing material are used (almost exclusively Yazoo Mills for posters). Rest assured, I take every measure to ensure your purchase arrives unharmed.
Shipping costs are estimated based on approximate packed weight. Please contact me before purchase with any shipping questions or concerns.
International Buyers: I utilize the Global Shipping Program. Please contact me before purchase for combined international shipments.
