Description
This auction is for a Franklin Mint vinyl doll that I have repainted to portray Norma Shearer in the title role from the 1938 MGM movie "Marie Antoinette". I also made her outfit and added a non-removable Franklin Mint wig which I also modified (please note that I have opted to use a blonde wig rather than Marie Antoinette's trademark white wig, as this doll depicts the future queen arriving at Versailles--judging from the actual movie as well as publicity stills, Miss Shearer appears to sport darker hair in this scene). Her stockings are by the Franklin Mint. The doll is being listed as used only because there is no original packaging involved--her clothing is new and she has not been displayed. She is 15 1/2" tall (that is, without the hat, which adds a couple of inches to her height). She is jointed at the base of the head, as well as the shoulders, and the hips. I don't have a stand or box for her (my apologies), but she will be carefully packed for shipping. PLEASE PAY WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED MORE TIME TO PAY. SORRY, NO INTERNANTIONAL SALES/SHIPMENTS/PAYMENTS--I only ship to the United States and I can only accept U.S. funds. From a smoke-free, one-cat environment. Please contact me with any questions..Item Specifics
