    Description

For sale is this lovely red gown made by Sheilah. It was her version of Jan Van Velden's red duchess satin gown topped with a separate lace jacket accented with sequins. The gown was worn once with a necklace and drop earrings and once with the Spencer tiara and earrings. When Diana attended the world premiere of the ballet "Carmen" in Oslo, Norway, in February 1984 she wore a full-length black velvet cloak over this gown. This is seen in "Diana, Portrait of a Princess" by Jayne Fincher on page 70 and also in "Diana, Princess of Wales, The Book of Fashion" by Jane Owen. This comes with a pair of red shoes made by the Franklin Mint. It includes the gown and the shoes and does not include the doll or the jewelry. This comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home.
