Antique English Pewter Pint Tankard Ribbed Bands - 5"
18th century English Georgian pint pewter tankard or drinking mug. The tankard has a flared shape accentuated by bands of incised lines around the body which are tight and then more loosely drawn toward the bottom of the mug.
"PINT " is impressed into the side by the top of the handle, which is sturdy and well shaped. This is an exceptionally fine antique tankard dating from around 1790.
Size: 4 3/4" x 3" (base) x 3 1/2 " at the top.
