Antique Dagestani Kindjal, circa 1880- 1910.
Very fine Caucasian Kindjal dagger from Dagestani. The blade is 15 inches long with off centered fuller, of good quality tempered steel. Hilt with gold decoration. The scabbard is covered with black leather mounted with pierced steel locket heavily decorated with gold koftgari work. The total length is 21 3/8 inches. Excellent condition. The blade is signed with gold. A very good quality kindjal.
