2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab 6.5ft Bed 4x4 with Leer cap and bed liner. 186K miles. Clean title in hand. The truck runs and drives very well. There are no illuminated warning lights and it has a valid PA state safety/emission inspection good until 12/2021. The A/C works and is cold. The interior is in very nice condition, especially for the age, with no tears, stains or smells. It has been well maintained with oil changes every 6K miles with Mobil1 5W-30. Does not use any oil between 6K mile changes. The transmission shifts well and the 4wd works fine. Most of the age-related issues that crop up on these trucks have been addressed in the last 5 years. Since 2016 it has had all new stainless steel brake lines, new fuel lines from tank to fuel rail (not stainless), fuel pump, knock sensors, knock sensor harness, intake manifold gasket, spark plugs, steering box, power steering cooler, PS lines and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
The truck has spent its entire life in the northeast, so there are some rust issues to deal with. The frame is solid, but there is moderate-heavy surface rust throughout the entire frame. It will need a POR-15 treatment or at least annual applications of Fluid Film to keep the rust from getting worse. The cab corners and rockers are solid. The rear bumper has rust bubbling through the chrome all over. There are also rust bubbles appearing through the passenger side rear wheel well. There is no other visible body rust.
Other known issues: The tires have about 20% usable tread left. The fixed cap windows leak some water in rainstorms and will need to be re-sealed.
