This 1984 Toyota Pickup is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven.

1984 Toyota standard cab pickup, 4x4, 22R 4 cylinder, 5 speed, 287,164 miles, in good condition. Without fail every time I drive it to town I get asked if it’s for sale. In the past I have always said no, but due to health reasons now it can be yours. I purchased the truck in 1997 from the second owner. It has spent its entire life in the north Alabama /Huntsville area.
Original paint and accent stripes. The truck cranks, runs, drives, shifts gears, and transfer case shifts. All glass is intact and operational. Engine doesn’t smoke or use oil. The clock, air conditioner and cruise control don’t work. The exhaust system leaks and needs repair. The hood and top have dings and hail dents. The upper right side of bed, inside of bed, and tailgate has rust (see pictures). There are some rust holes in the floor of the bed near the tailgate (see picture). The seat has been recovered at least once and is in need of repair again.
This was a daily driver until around 2010. It has since been used around our property for hauling brush, moving wood, and general farm use. I hate to let it go, but my loss is your gain. If you are in the market for an all original ‘84 Toyota 4x4, this is it! It’s definitely not new and needs some things repaired, but it would be a head turner with some time and money invested. The original jack, tool kit, Aisin locking hubs and skid plate are included in this sale. The tires were purchased new in 2006 and only have 3800 miles, but are showing signs of sidewall cracking. Although faded and torn, the original manufacturer’s window sticker is included in the sale. The original owner’s manual, owner’s guide, and speed control operation instructions are also included. Recent repairs (2020/2021) include a new windshield, EverStart battery, Duralast water pump, and NGK plug wires. The timing chain, guides, tensioner, oil pump, and upper and lower sprockets were replaced in 2003 at 245,930 miles. The clutch master cylinder drips occasionally. I am including a replacement Aisin that buyer can install.
