Description
This listing is of a historic 1932 50 Centavos coin of Honduras. These coins are often referred to in Honduras as tostones. (50 cent coins in some other Latin American countries are called that as well.) In terms of face value, 1 toston = 1/2 Lempira. These coins are historic and very interesting in that they were struck in .900 fine silver at the Philadelphia location of US Mint for the Republic of Honduras.
