UR chip breaker for heavy roughing and interrupted turning applications.
YG1001 is a CVD-TiCN+Al2O3 gold & black coated grade for high speed machining of grey cast iron & carbon steels. Sub-micron grain carbide for high wear resistance with a special surface treatment on the top face of the insert for higher cutting speeds, smoother chip flow & longer insert life, even when dry machining, providing the highest level of wear resistance in continuous machining operations. 1st choice for high speed turning grey cast iron and carbon steels.
